Who we are

ListSmith ("we", "us") provides AI-drafted property marketing copy for UK estate agents, letting agents and landlords. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a hashed password, stored with our database provider (Supabase).
• Usage data — how many generations you've used (to operate the free tier), and the listings you generate while logged in (saved to your account so you can revisit them).
• Property details you enter — sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your copy. Don't enter personal data about identifiable individuals; the form only needs property facts.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we store only a Stripe customer reference and your plan status.
• Anonymous analytics — for logged-out visitors we record page views with a random visitor identifier, referrer and approximate traffic source. We don't use third-party advertising cookies, and we don't track logged-in users this way.

How we use it

• To provide the service: generating copy, saving your listings, enforcing plan limits.
• To take payment and manage subscriptions (Stripe).
• To send essential account emails (e.g. password resets).
• To understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site.

We don't sell your data, and we don't send marketing emails without your consent.

Our processors

Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI text generation), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Retention

Account data and saved listings are kept while your account is active. You can delete saved listings anytime, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data entirely.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict processing. To exercise any right, email hello@listsmith.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: your login session and a counter for anonymous free tries. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
